Handcrafted Jewelry from the Coast of Maine.

 

In Shakespeare's play The Tempest, the magician Prospero and his small band, shipwrecked by a storm at sea, find themselves on an enchanted island.  Toward the end of the action, at the point of rescue, Prospero speaks these lines:  "This rough magic / I here abjure. . . ."

 

While we aren't exactly stranded on an island, we are lucky to be in an enchanted place all the same:  overlooking beautiful Herrick Bay on the rockbound coast of Downeast Maine.  Nature has been very kind to our part of the world, generously bestowing lovely scenery and ever-changing seasons, and granting the Downeast people a spirit of fierce independence.  We hope these blessings are reflected in our own creations.

 

To Nature's treasures -- shells, pearls, and Maine's own hardwoods -- we add such elegant elements as Swarovski crystals, gemstones, and sterling silver -- to evoke the beauty and spirit of the Downeast Seacoast.
